So this afternoon I was sitting around, complaining that I couldn't think of anything to blog about, and the husband said "Why don't you tell them what the kids have been up to?"
So I will.
Spring has kindasorta arrived, in that it was nice out yesterday. (Today it's mid-twenties and snow is predicted, but that's today. Yesterday was quite pleasant.) So the girls decided that the action figures needed an extreme sports day. They took two of the sturdiest (Baron Zemo and one of the far-too-may Wolverines we've got) outside and had them participate in the folliwing:
- Sailing (which is to say, sitting in plastic boats in a puddle of melted snow).
- Parachuting (made even more interesting when a strong gust of wind took Zemo over the roof).
- Bungee jumping (which I'm sure needs no explanation).
Both figures returned not only uninjured and intact but relatively free of mud, which quite frankly surprised the heck out of me.

Good God! Children actually playing with their action figures? Having fun with their toys?
I thought you were supposed to leave them all in their boxes, mint and pristine! At least an awful lot of people seem to think that. I remember buying a rather nice figure, and opening the box right at the store, and some of the boys almost fainted.
